Recal Petition Denied

The Oakland County Election Board has denied the petition to recall Springfield Township Supervisor, Richard (Ric) Davis.

Recall petitions are required to clearly state factual reasons why citiizens wish to recall an official. Even though what was seamling clear language, the board thought otherwise.

But this does not end the effort. With the knowledge gained at the hearing as to what the board would like to see in the wording of a recall petition, a new more clear, concise petiton will be re-submitted.
